Do I need surfing experience to join the camp?

Not at all! We welcome total beginners, experienced surfers, and everyone in between. Our lessons are tailored to your skill level.

What languages do you speak at the camp?

We speak English, French, Arabic, and a bit of Spanish – so communication is never a problem!

What’s special about surfing in Imsouane?

Imsouane is famous for “The Bay,” one of the longest rides in Africa. It’s perfect for all levels, especially beginners and intermediates.

Where is your surf camp located?

Our surf camp is based in Imsouane, a laid-back fishing village between Essaouira and Agadir, known for its long right-hand wave and chill vibe.

Can I come if I’m not surfing?

Of course! We offer yoga, coastal hikes, local cooking experiences, and more. Non-surfers are always welcome.

Do I need a visa to come to Morocco?

Citizens of many countries (EU, UK, US, Canada, Australia) can stay visa-free for up to 90 days. Always check the latest requirements before traveling.

Is Imsouane safe for solo travelers?

Yes, Imsouane is a very safe and welcoming village. Our team is here to make you feel at home.

What is the best time of year to visit?

Imsouane has waves year-round, but the best surf conditions are from September to April.

Do you offer airport transfers?

Yes. Airport transfers from and to Agadir or Essaouira are included in our Surf & Stay and Surf & Yoga packages. If you book accommodation only or Surf Guiding, we can arrange a transfer for an extra fee – just let us know in advance.

How do I get to Imsouane?

You can fly into Agadir or Essaouira. From there, we can arrange a shuttle or you can take a shared taxi or bus.

Is Wi-Fi available at the camp?

Yes, we offer free Wi-Fi throughout the surf camp so you can stay connected.

What should I pack for the surf camp?

We recommend bringing swimwear, sunscreen, a towel, flip-flops, and warm clothes for the evenings. Surf gear is provided.

Yes! All our surf packages are full board: breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, made with love using local ingredients. Bed & breakfast stays include breakfast, and other meals are available on request.

Can I rent a surfboard or wetsuit?

Yes! Surfboards and wetsuits are included in our surf packages. If you’re not in a package, we also offer rentals.

Is there a laundry service?

Yes, we offer laundry service for a small fee if you need a fresh set of clothes mid-trip.

What type of accommodation do you offer?

We have shared rooms, private rooms, and ocean-view options – something for every budget and vibe.

Can I stay without booking a surf package?

Yes, you’re welcome to book just accommodation and add activities as you like.

Do you offer group discounts?

Absolutely! Groups of 2 or more get special rates and perks. Contact us for a custom quote.

What packages do you offer?

We offer Surf & Stay, Surf & Yoga, Surf Guiding and custom packages, plus bed & breakfast stays. You can choose what suits your goals and schedule.

What’s included in the price?

Our Surf & Stay and Surf & Yoga packages include accommodation, daily 2-hour surf lessons (max 6 surfers per instructor), surfboard, wetsuit and leash, breakfast, lunch and dinner, and airport transfers from Agadir or Essaouira. Surf & Yoga adds a daily yoga session. Surf Guiding includes accommodation, full board and daily guided transfers to the best spots. Flights and travel insurance are not included.

Are there discounts for longer stays?

Yes! We offer reduced rates for stays of 2 weeks or more – ask us about our long-stay deals.

Do you require a deposit to book?

Yes, we usually ask for a 30% deposit to secure your spot. The rest is payable on arrival.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you cancel 14 days or more before arrival, we refund your deposit minus a small processing fee. Cancellations made less than 14 days before arrival, no-shows and early departures are non-refundable. Full details are in our Terms & Conditions .

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept PayPal, bank transfer, cash (in Moroccan dirhams, euros or USD) and card. The balance is paid on arrival, in cash or by card.

Are the waves suitable for beginners?

Definitely. The Bay is known for being one of the most beginner-friendly waves in the world.

Do you take us to other surf spots?

Yes, depending on conditions, we can organize day trips to nearby spots like Tamri or Boilers.

How far are the surf spots from the camp?

We’re just a short walk from both main surf spots – no need for daily driving!

What are the main surf spots in Imsouane?

The two main spots are The Bay (perfect for long rides and beginners) and Cathedral (a bit punchier, great for more experienced surfers).

Can I surf on my own outside of lessons?

Absolutely. If you feel confident, grab a board and go – just make sure to check the tides and surf conditions first.

Do you offer surf guiding for advanced surfers?

Yes! Our guides know the coastline and will get you to the best spots depending on swell, wind, and tides.

Is the lineup crowded?

It depends on the season. In peak season (Oct–March), it can get busy, but we always find the right time and spot for your level.

What’s the water temperature like?

It ranges from 16–22°C. A 3/2mm wetsuit is perfect most of the year.

The food there was amazing and cheap, we can really recommend the family dinners and the tasty breakfast :) wonderful views on the ocean inclusive!
Also, our 3 bed room was comfy, had a lot of space and the beds as well as the blankets were very conformable. We would always come back 😊

The rooms and common areas are clean and spacious. There's a beautiful terrace with a great ocean view. The wifi is strong and stable. The hosts and the whole staff are super nice and friendly people. We stayed for almost 2 weeks and really felt at home! Few times a week they organize 'family dinners' with delicious local meals. People are lovely, Mohammed will try to do everything to make sure you get what you need, Hassam is a great chef with Gavi which is also a very nice guy! Join the family dinner anytime possible, you wont regret!

The internet is good for those that work remotely, the rooms are nice with comfortable bed.

If they tell you that they will have a band coming after dinner, make sure you will be there as well!

NOTHING IN IMSOUANE IS BETTER FOR THE PRICE - travelling alone can be sketch sometimes but Hassan and everyone working there was so friendly. They make u feel like home! The room are big enough for 1-2 people in the bedroom, there is a kitchen with fridge and stove, small living room with tv internet and shared bathroom. Big closet for your bag and clothes. Everything is clean and well maintained! 5 min walk to the beach. U can find surfing and food very easily. The rooftop is pretty cool with the view ! I've stayed 3 nights but definitely could've stayed for a month if I had time. I really recommend staying there :) thank you again the best hostel in Morocco 🇲🇦😍
